The 4th Meeting the 6-9th May in Hägerstensåsen, Stockholm
We had our fourth meeting, the final meeting in the frame of the project “ICT for seniors ECOSYNERGY” in Stockholm. The meeting was organized by the Swedish partner, MobilEducation and the meeting place was Hägerstensåsen, one of the city parts of Stockholm.
The main of activities carried through in Medborgarhuset, “the citizens´house”, in the center of Hägerstensåsen. A lecture concerning Aqvaponic/hydroponic gardening was given in a place also loated in Hägerstensåsen. All partner countries were represented, the organizer (MobilEducation) and the representatives of the coordinator from the Social Institute Ecological and from the Center Adult Education in Austria – SPES Zukunftsakademie.
The meeting started with a presentation of ICT guide and best practices from partner countries. We have worked with the question if computers or mobile devices and the internet can be tools that facilitate seniors´daily life. Workshops in the garden: Fairphone, a smart phone from Holland. A Fairphone is ethical, open and built to last. Robots and coding, how to start educating seniors. Constructa Bot is like a toy to start coding. You build different kind of maps for the robot. You can also use apps, Bee Bot and Blue Bot to learn data logical thinking. Lego Education is the next step and you can build many different robots that you code from your iPad. A good example of the educating tools in the future is ”Digital T-shirt”.
We had discussions about the project implementation and results, our activities and the follow up of our partnership for the final report.
